Workplace Insurance - Package Details

  • Customers who opt for this package will get the Workplace Insurance Policy provided by Aksigorta for a period of 12 months, free of charge.  
  • Customers with an annual consumption figure of between 1,100 - 100,000 kWh will be offered Aksigorta Workplace Insurance with a coverage of 5,000 TRY, free of charge. 
  • Customers with an annual consumption over 100,000 kWh will be offered Aksigorta Workplace Insurance with a coverage of 20,000 TRY, free of charge.  
  • This insurance package provides coverage for fire, air and land vehicle crash, floods and flooding, theft, and smoke damage.  
  • Customers can utilize the services provided in this package, for a period of one year.  

Home Insurance - Package Details

  • Customers who opt for this package will get the Home Insurance Policy provided by Aksigorta for a period of 12 months, free of charge.  
  • Customers with an annual consumption figure of between 1,100 - 100,000 kWh will be offered Aksigorta Home Insurance with a coverage of 5,000 TRY, free of charge.  
  • Customers with an annual consumption over 100,000 kWh will be offered Aksigorta Home Insurance with a coverage of 20,000 TRY, free of charge.  
  • This insurance package provides coverage for fire, air and land vehicle crash, floods and flooding, theft, and smoke damage.  
  • Customers can utilize the services provided in this package, for a period of one year.  

24/7 Workplace Assistance Services Package Details

  • Customers who opt for this package will get Workplace Assistance services provided by Assistline and Benefit Global for a period of 12 months, free of charge.  
  • 24/7 Workplace Assistance Services will be offered to all Commercial and Industrial subscribers, regardless of their consumption levels.  
  • Workplace Assistance Services include plumbing works, electrical installation works, window replacements, locksmith services, emergency ambulance dispatch, medical consultancy, legal consultancy, and information services.  
  • Complimentary Combi Boiler & Air Conditioner Maintenance Services: Combi boiler maintenance applies to household combi boilers that are in working order but no longer covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Air conditioner maintenance applies to household air conditioners that are in working order but no longer covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.  
  • Customers can utilize the services provided in this package, for a period of one year.

  • This is a campaign that comes alongside electricity supply services and provides customers with a range of complimentary products, including Workplace Insurance, Home Insurance or 24/7 Workplace Assistance Services, depending on their consumption amounts.

What are the terms of application?

  • The campaign applies to Commercial and Industrial subscribers whose annual consumption is at or above the Eligible Consumer limit, and who are not currently benefiting from any other campaign or discount.

Which insurance products will be offered to customers under the campaign, with reference to their consumption levels?

  • Under the campaign:

  • Gediz Perakende offers the insurance packages free of charge under the campaign, and assumes no liability regarding such services.  

Under which circumstances will I face a cancellation fee?

  • The customer will be required to pay a cancellation fee in case of switching suppliers through an unjust termination. No cancellation fee will be charged in case of termination for good cause. 

If I terminate the electricity supply contract, will I have to pay a cancellation fee?

  • The customer agrees to pay a fine 1 (one) time the highest bill amount to have accrued during the term of the contract.

Will I be charged a cancellation fee related to the insurance campaign if I terminate my electricity subscription prior to the campaign’s expiration date?

  • The cancellation fee applicable for the campaign in cases where the customer switches suppliers through an unjust termination will be charged to the customer following its calculation with reference to the unused months during the six-month period.    For instance, if the customer terminates the contract in the 2nd month of the Bilateral Agreement without good cause, the customer will be charged the penalty stipulated in the bilateral agreement plus the penalty for the four months that will not be used anymore during the campaign.

Is it possible to increase the coverage figures for the packages offered under the campaign?

  • As the insurance packages offered under the campaign are fixed packages, it is not possible to revise the scope of coverage.

Can I benefit from the Workplace Insurance, Home Insurance, and 24/7 Workplace Assistance Services packages at the same time?

  • The packages included in the campaign are separate products, and a customer can get only one package at a time.

Assuming that I have the bilateral agreement for electricity for my workplace, can I use the insurance packages for my home?

  • The Workplace Insurance is offered only for the workplaces of business owners. The Home Insurance product is available for customers who wish to use the free insurance products at home.

Can I benefit from the campaign even if the electricity subscription is not in my name?

  • The electricity subscription should be in your name for you to benefit from the insurance packages offered under the campaign.

When can I start to use discounted electricity?

 

  • Once the Bilateral Agreement signed with Gediz Perakende for electricity supply is approved by EXIST (Energy Exchange Istanbul) (in the 3-week period from the 6th day of the month until the end of the month, transition process is confirmed for customers who have a meter that is in compliance with the communiqué and who exceed the eligible consumer limit), the Customer can start to use electricity with discount.
  • To benefit from the campaign, your annual consumption must be at or above the Eligible Consumer limit.
  • Commercial and Industrial subscribers can benefit from the campaign.
